There are lots of places to you can look for services and supports, but two of the most comprehensive are South Sound 211 and the Crisis Clinic.

South Sound 211

South Sound 2-1-1 is a free service that connects people with services such as: 211

  • Rent and Utility Assistance
  • Counseling and Mental Health Services
  • Food and Clothing Resources
  • Shelter and Affordable Housing
  • Employment and Education Services
  • Military/Veteran Resources
  • Transportation

Information and referral specialists offer compassion, understanding and advocacy to callers from Pierce, Thurston, and Lewis counties. All calls are confidential.

The South Sound 2-1-1 call center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with 24-hour voice mail.

The Crisis Clinic of Thurston and Mason Counties

The Crisis Clinic provides a 24-hour 7-day a week centralized service to anyone who calls, offering crisis intervention and emotional support, as well as information and referrals.

Trained Crisis Clinic  volunteers can we help with emotional support, assistance in identifying problems, making decisions, locating resources, and identifying steps to resolve problems.

The Crisis Clinic can refer callers to a variety of community resources, including:
