We hope to see you on Wednesday, April 12 at 7 p.m. in the Norman Worthington Conference Center at Saint Martin’s University for the symposium on “Washing Away Poverty with Socially Responsible Soap.” The event, co-sponsored by Saint Martin’s University and Alaffia, an Olympia-based organization that sells fair trade natural body care products to empower lives in Togo, is free and open to the public.
The symposium will feature David Gilmour, U.S. Ambassador to Togo, and key leadership from Alaffia including co-founders Olowo-n’djo Tchala and Prairie Rose Hyde as well as the Alaffia Empowerment Council. Come and learn how private enterprise can alleviate poverty and advance gender equality.
This is a FREE Community & Student Symposium hosted by Saint Martin’s University in partnership with Alaffia.
