What We Learned: Shared Learning on Economic Advancement Resources

We had a great turn-out and engaged audience at this quarter’s Shared Learning on Economic Asset building Coalition finaloutlinedAdvancement Resources. Twenty-eight people from the health, housing, law, finance, and education communities were in attendance, including six panelists speaking on resources within employment services, the Office of Assigned Council, and the Timberland Regional Library, and financial education resources. We had a great turn-out and engaged audience at this quarter’s Shared Learning on Health & Dental Asset building Coalition finaloutlinedResources. Thirty-four people from the health, housing, law enforcement, faith, food, finance, and education communities were in attendance. We, also, had five panelists speaking about healthcare and dental access for low-income persons in Thurston County. Winfried Danke of CHOICE Regional Health Network facilitated and presented a wonderful primer on the Washington State Healthcare Innovation Plan. We had a great turn-out at this quarter’s Shared Learning on Food Resources, with 28 attendees Asset building Coalition finaloutlined
from the housing, health, education, finance, and food communities. We, also, had 6 speakers from all levels of government and non-profits who work on access to food, staff from Thurston ABC, and Robert Coit of the Thurston County Food Bank facilitated.
